David Yat Sin 959c897604 ASAN: Remap first page of allocations to host mem
When compiling in ASAN mode, remap the first page of device allocations
to system memory. ASAN's memory allocator uses a small amount of extra
memory to store data for housekeeping purpose. But because this memory
is from the GPU memory pool, it might have uncommon memory type for host
to access. Mapping this section of memory to the host makes this memory
accessible to ASAN.

David Yat Sin 7ecdefb7ca Reserve scratch on first queue allocation
Some workloads running on multi-GPU create 1 process per GPU. So each
process creates a GPU agent on every GPU, but will only create queues on
one GPU. This would cause un-necessary scratch reservation.

David Yat Sin 2d924e337d Do not report reserved scratch cache as available
Scratch cache reserved memory is only available for scratch memory use
so do not report this memory as available to the user via the
HSA_AMD_AGENT_INFO_MEMORY_AVAIL api.

David Yat Sin d476ff16eb Adding scratch memory reservation
Some applications will keep trying to allocate device memory until the
allocation fails. This causes all device memory to be used up and we are
then unable to allocate scratch memory for dispatches. Reserve enough
memory for 1 small scratch allocation.

Sean Keely deee152909 Add support for exporting portable handles to GPU allocations.
Adds hsa_amd_portable_export_dmabuf and hsa_amd_portable_close_dmabuf
which allow obtaining dmabuf handles to rocr allocations.  These handles
may be shared with other APIs to support cross vendor & cross device
memory sharing.
Adds query to return whether dmabuf export is supported

energy usage.

David Yat Sin 000f4c0547 Add flag for external memory allocations
ROCr internally uses the same allocation_map_ list to track memory
allocations that are both for internal allocations and allocations by
users of ROCr library. In some edge cases, the library user would call
hsa_amd_pointer_info on an invalid pointer, but ROCR would return the
pointer as valid because this pointer belongs to a memory range that
was allocated internally within ROCr. Adding a flag to differentiate
between internal and external allocations.

Sean Keely c6d7c62307 Track size of pending operations in blits.

Alexander Turek e907b85904 isa: Add fix for hsa_isa_iterate_wavefronts always returns 64
Currently, Wavefront::GetInfo(HSA_WAVEFRONT_INFO_SIZE.. always returns
64. Instead, return the proper wavefront size based on the ISA.

Temporarily, we only return 1 wavefront size for each ISA. As we do not
have mechanism from upper layers to determine correct wavefront when
there are multiple wavefronts supported. We are temporarily
returning 32 for all gfx1xxx cards even though they support 64 as the
kernels for gfx1xxx are compiled for wavefront-32 by default.

David Yat Sin f5e7534574 Use paged memory for queues on MEC devices
MES devices need GART mappings and therefore need non-paged memory. But
using non-paged memory introduces performance regression where it can
take over 80 ms to see the signal changes if the memory is in the wrong
NUMA node. Currently, we cannot control NUMA affinity when allocating
non-paged memory. Using non-paged memory allocation only on devices that
have MES scheduler

Using previous method of std::thread for SVM profiler task was causing
segfaults on thread launch on RHEL 8 if libhsa-runtime library is loaded
using dlopen.

David Yat Sin f5dc99bf9e Use user requested size for memory fragments
Amount of memory requested by user may be aligned-up internally to
the memory pool granularity. The extra padded memory should not be
considered when validating pointers from the user. Also return the
user requested size when user queries pointer information.

Graham Sider ff52cbb201 Make queue memory allocation non-paged
Non-paged allocation for queue memory necessary for binding wptr to
GART. Required to support usermode queue oversubscription with MES for
GFX11.

Adds AllocateNonPaged entry to MemoryRegion::AllocateEnum for clarity;
aliases AllocateIPC.

Sean Keely 289a86785b Allow zero agent handle in AsyncCopy APIs.
IPC use cases with RVD set can't convey proper agent handles.
Runtime discovery is required to properly route the copy in this
case.

Shweta Khatri 2a635aa54d Assemble trap handler at build time.
Eliminates the need for manually assembling the source of the
second level trap handler to produce the shader binary.  Also
separated blit shaders' binary source and version one second
level trap handler binary sources into different header files.

The loader must use internal interfaces to access page allocation
flags.  Code pages should also ensure use of cached memory.

Sean Keely 47e1632188 Do not allow occupancy restriction on cooperative groups.
Excessive scratch allocations can normally trigger occupancy
reduction.  This breaks cooperative groups so if occupancy
reduction is required on a cooperative dispatch fail with OOM.

Sean Keely c196acd677 Do not bump up total scratch size for large cached allocations.
HW does not ignore low bits of the scratch wave count and will
stride beyond the end of the allocation if the wave count is
ever indivisible by SE count.  Rather than returning the allocation
size for cached large scratch allocations, use the requested
scratch size in scratch setup.  Scratch cache will retain the
cached allocation's size.

Sean Keely 3227859ff2 Rework memory locks to allow device parallelism in alloc/free.
Prior solution used a single global lock to protect the memory tracking structures.
This change protects the memory tracking structure with a shared mutex (rw lock) in
shared (r) mode for memory allocations and frees so that long duration processes,
calling to kfd, can be done in parallel.  Operations which must modify the memory map
take the mutex in exclusive mode (w) and must not call to the thunk while holding
the mutex.

The fragment allocator now requires separate protection and is protected with a
mutex at the device level.  Protecting at the device level, rather than pool,
allows retention of the current recursive design and allows calling Trim from
withing Allocate.  This could be made finer (pool level locks) but would
require backing out of Allocate entirely to call Trim.  Trim and any retried
Allocation must be done in isolation (per device) or we may report OOM when
memory is actually available in some pool's fragment cache.  So some device
level serialization is required in at least some paths.

Sean Keely 2537a8b1c2 Place GPU local resources in nearest NUMA node.
For minimal latency we should place command queues and blit code
in the nearest numa node to each GPU.  Add an allocator matching
the current runtime default allocator interface to each GpuAgent
that allocates on the closest numa node as represented by kfd
topology.  Use this allocator for queue ring buffers and blit
objects.

Sean Keely f6dcfa4246 Register the default queue error handler for all internal queues.
Also make failure to handle queue errors fatal.

Motivation is to improve detection of queue error conditions
that currently appear as application hangs.

Sean Keely e4b3eb87e2 Minor interface improvement to pointer info.
Take in const void* rather than void*.  This does not break the
abi or existing code.  Existing code would need to cast away any
const which is unnecessary and annoying.

Sean Keely 4c6ea88cf5 Add HSA_CU_MASK
New environment variable HSA_CU_MASK allows users to
specify a cu mask to every queue allocated from any
GPU.  hsa_amd_queue_cu_set_mask is restricted from
escaping this mask.

A new API hsa_amd_queue_cu_get_mask is added to query
the current cu mask.

Laurent Morichetti 0a2ad007a4 Fix incorrect packet index in ttmp6
ttmp6.packet_index is reported as 0 for all waves, regardless of the
dispatch packet position in the queue, due to an issue in the clearing
of the previous trap_id and saved status.halt bit.

Fixed TTMP6_SAVED_STATUS_HALT_MASK to only be one bit, 1<<29.

Sean Keely ed740bfebc Correct scratch in use computation.
